The Tele-Kabel-Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH (tele-cable-engineering company, or TKI) located in Chemnitz, Germany, is a modern service provider focusing on telecommunication networks.

Enterprises working on the sector of telecommunication such as Arcor, Deutsche Telekom or Kabel Deutschland often do not install their networks all by themselves, but authorize other companies as TKI. For regional and national clients (e.g.: Arcor, Deutsche Bahn AG, Deutsche Telekom AG, Envia TEL GmbH, Kabel Deutschland GmbH, Primacom AG) TKI operates as main contractor in Germany for the planning, installation, measurement and documentation in all fields of line construction. In doing so, we plan and erect fibre-optic networks, telephony -, and HFC-networks.

As an engineering company, we furthermore operate in the fields of planning and construction of communication-, building-automation-, and electro-technical systems, as well as in the field of construction, measurement and documentation for government authorities (different public building departments and German DEGES).

Our years of experience and know-how in the field of telecommunication networks lead us consequentially to starting software development in 2001. With the Network Explorer for Telecommunication we are able to provide a well-established and comprehensive GIS-solution for the planning, documentation and management of fibre-optic networks, telephony- and HFC-networks on the basis of Topobase™, by Autodesk®.
